I’d like to briefly define the meaning of Eckankar in Sanskrit, which is the classical language of India and Hinduism, it literally means “the one path.” We’ve taken the word Eckankar, and we define it as “Co-worker with God.” Then we further define it as the Religion of the Light and Sound of God, which tells how to become a Co-worker with God. Someone sent me a poem. The title was “The Calf Path,” and one of the lines in it was “the calf-paths of the mind.” It tells an interesting story.

Three hundred years ago there was a little calf on its way home. It meandered as it made its way along a path that led through the forest, and as the calf wandered and made its trail, it disappeared into history. The next day, along came a dog. He was just out for a walk when he smelled these tracks, and he decided to follow the path of the calf. “Donna” was going to have a new telecommunications company install their system in her home. She was switching companies. So one day a young phone rep came to her home. “Brian” was his name. She took him to her office and let him size up the place—see what kind of equipment she had, and decide what to do about it.

In the meantime, Donna was running around as quick as she could, straightening things up, moving things here and there, because it was her office, and it was cluttered. Brian looked around. Donna had all kinds of stuff in there. She had watercolors, art reproductions, road maps, photos of famous groups (I don’t know of what—musicians?). Those of you who have moved through several different levels of spiritual consciousness have found that your life can get rough at times. Why? Not because somebody in the dark alley is shooting arrows at you. It’s because you’re meeting yourself. And this is truth. Truth means meeting yourself.

It’s one of the paradoxes of truth. So many people claim to have truth. So many people claim to know it. But they can’t agree with each other about what truth is. And they’re ready to fight to the death to have their view of truth prevail.

This is wrong. Because if you have truth, you realize that another person has truth too, at his or her own level. There’s no reason to fight about it. Read More

How to Read The Worlds of ECK Chart

This is a road map to the inner planes or heavens. You can use this chart to plan your spiritual travels or to better understand where you have been or what you have experienced.
