On Holy Ground

During a recent seminar, I was feeling sick with a cold!

I tend to close myself off when I’m sick, but I wouldn’t allow that to happen this time. I knew that would block me from the gifts and opportunities available for me. I remembered when Sri Harold shared his hospital experience. He had to endure a lot of pain, but he didn’t let that hold him back from giving love to all the hospital staff he encountered.

For me, there is no point in closing off my heart to the priceless gift of being together with other lovers of God at the ECK seminars. It is such a joy to make acquaintances, or to meet old friends and new ones. The workshops also help me to shine brighter as Soul.

Some of the keys I took away with me were the importance of having a spiritual outflow through giving service, to just keep trying, and to be true to what you believe in. I also took note of these points in Sri Harold’s talk: there’s no need to rush; don’t worry about a thing; and embrace the moment because we are always on holy ground.

Now that I’ve returned home, I know my realizations will continue to bloom as divine treasures from the ECK in my life.
